In this role you will be providing successful leadership of the of Mould Maintenance / SS Collar / Fabrication within the workshop. Reviewing, motivating, and lifting the performance of all people within teams is a requirement for this management role. Key Responsibilities • Provide successful leadership of the of Mould Maintenance / SS Collar / Fabrication within the workshop. Reviewing, motivating, and lifting the performance of all people within teams is a requirement for this management role. • Provide technical support on fabrication and other mechanical engineering across the business. This support may be for the workshop team, Manufacturing Team, Technical services or EPM’s • Ensuring there is a continuous improvement culture embedded in the team. To drive a focus on cost effective solutions, waste reduction, rework reduction so that the workshop is able to make as much as possible “right first time”. • Ensuring all employees on site conform to Hynds Health & Safety Policies, Golden Rules and other Guidelines • Maintaining high standards to ensure quality work is carried out correctly to the highest standard. Key Attributes • At least 5 years of experience in the manufacture of mechanical fabrication will be required. • Fully understands the value of our engineered solutions package, associated products and solutions, and the commercial implications of good vs poor quality. • Excellent customer service skills are paramount to ensure that strong internal and external customer relationships are maintained. • Ability to lead team members to perform to the best of their abilities • Practical understanding and experience of workshop health and safety standards
Responsibilities
Lead the Mould Maintenance, SS Collar, and Fabrication teams within the workshop to improve performance and quality. Provide technical mechanical engineering support across the business while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
