Position: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Stanton, TN Job Type: Office (25%) Shop Floor (75%) Reports to: Facility Manager Department: North American Operations Position Purpose: Provide maintenance supervision, support and analysis to assist Leadec in maintaining & improving facilities and equipment to achieve TEVC TN objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec. * Works safely at all times. * Arrive on the job, ready to work every day according to the work plan and schedule. * Demonstrates advanced knowledge in multi craft fields and several years of experience. * Time keeping, startup meetings, scheduling of work/time off, disciplinary actions. * Additional technical responsibilities as assigned. * Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively. * All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.   Competencies:   * Managing Tasks * Open Communication * Self-Management * Motivating & Developing People   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   * Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees. * Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively. * Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers. * Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances. * Problem Solving - Defining equipment problems and bring about viable solutions. * Reliability of equipment up-time. * Perform quick analysis and repair both mechanical and electrical issues on equipment. * Work from mechanical drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, written or oral instructions. * Strong industrial mechanical, plumbing and pneumatic trouble shooting skills. * Strong leadership ability with time management and prioritization skills. * Troubleshoot basic to complex mechanical and electrical issues. * Must show ability to get to the root cause and make and implement recommendations to improve reliability. * Actively participates in team meetings.   Position Qualifications:   * Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. * Ability to pass Maintenance based aptitude testing. * 5+ years of work experience in supervision. * Responsible for collecting and assisting with documentation of repair details, as directed by the Maintenance Manager.   Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:   * Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high>). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch. * Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment. * Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
