We currently seek a Maintenance Supervisor to help support our Facilities Department in our Norcross location. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage relationships with contractors and service providers * Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary * Monitor critical systems of facilities to ensure functionality * Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities * Manage and direct day-to-day Trades personnel work assignments * Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities * Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required * Ensure health and safety policies are in compliance * HAZWOPER Certified * Allocate workload and supervise janitorial and landscaping staff. * Use in-house CMMS to create, manage and report day-to-day work assignments and preventive maintenance activities * Coordinate off-hours and weekend work * Participate in the on-call duty roster for critical or emergency events * Perform other related duties as required. Key qualifications: * 5+ years of maintenance leadership in progressive roles; 7+ years in a manufacturing environment * Six-sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and Lean Certification a plus * Knowledge of Fiber Optic Industry desirable * SAP Experience preferred * Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point; Acute ability to understand and use data for continuous improvement * Experience working in a Union environment Working at LIGHTERA means having the opportunity to realize ideas, experience innovation and discover new solutions for the future.
