QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, preferably supervisor experience
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools and fork lifts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple jobs and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication effectiveness
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibility is the performance of general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures as directed by the Director of Operations. Maintenance will be performed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat, OSHA and company safety rules, policies and regulations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement preventative maintenance measures and safety procedures
  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, upgrades, and painting repairs as necessary
  • Scheduling, training, supervising employees who assist with maintenance work
  • Identify purchasing needs for the maintenance requirements with approval from Director of Operations
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
  • Complete inspections of office and plant with Director of Operations
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
  • Perform other maintenance duties as requested
