THE POSITION:

RW Consumer Products is seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our Blowmolding machines and filling lines, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years proven experience as a Millwright, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working under a health and safety program required.
  • Experience working under a Quality Management System is preferred.
  • Experience in blow molding or filling line machinery is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and complete technical reports/forms as records of work done.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
    Physical stamina is required. You will be standing for long stretches of time. Must be able to lift, push/pull 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance program for the facility, including both facility (e.g., utilities) and production lines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and install machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Align and calibrate machinery using precision tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and perform appropriate maintenance such as lubrication and replace defective parts to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Work with external parties related to calibration, maintenance and other equipment related services (e.g., machining) as necessary.
  • Support the Health & Safety program at RW, including active involvement in the committee and associated management system.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity, utilizing tools such as lean principles.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Complete records as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled or required during unexpected maintenance.
