Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations across [residential/commercial/mixed-use] properties. The ideal candidate has a strong background in property maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to keeping buildings in top condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED (required); technical training or certifications preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or commercial real estate
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a property or facility maintenance setting
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with work order systems or property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on-call hours when needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians and vendors
  • Perform and oversee repairs and upkeep for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
  • Schedule and perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Respond to work orders and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Inspect properties regularly to identify issues and recommend improvements
  • Maintain maintenance logs, safety inspections, and supply inventories
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes
  • Assist with unit turnovers and property readiness for new tenants
  • Work closely with property management staff to prioritize maintenance needs
  • Participate in budgeting and planning for maintenance and capital improvement projects
