JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. This includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repair and preventive maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining equipment and facility standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with at least 2–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer software.

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Plan, prioritize, assign, and monitor maintenance and repair work orders.
• Perform inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure equipment and systems are maintained in compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance activities and maintain related records.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts.
• Ensure all maintenance activities follow company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA).
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Manage maintenance budgets and prepare reports as needed.
