MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily engineering operations to ensure the property is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role leads the maintenance team, manages preventive maintenance programs, and responds to guest and operational needs. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and schedule maintenance staff (engineering team) * Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) program for guest rooms, public areas, and equipment * Respond to and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner * Inspect property regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness, and brand standards * Manage work orders, logs, and tracking systems (e.g., Quore, Inigma) * Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and projects * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes * Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies * Assist with budgeting, cost control, and energy management * Train and coach team members to improve performance Qualifications: * 2–5 years maintenance/engineering experience (hotel preferred) * Prior supervisory or leadership experience * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs * Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize multiple tasks * Good communication and organizational skills Qualifications * Physical Requirements (In-Office Role) Ability to work in a standard office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day) Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday. Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items. Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies). Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
