Description

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Georgia, VT is looking Maintenance Supervisor on days to join their team.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • Supervise and coordinate a group of unionized employees in carrying out technical work, according to the vision and philosophy of the work team organization by exchange of skills, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage and coordinate the execution of preventive/corrective maintenance work considering.
  • Analyze and improve maintenance techniques and coordinate improvement projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and carry out the supplies necessary for the execution of its projects/maintenance work.
  • Install, configure, and repair various types of instrumentation and control devices, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, actuators, and other related equipment. Calibrate and program industrial electronic equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults, failures, or malfunctions in instrumentation and control systems promptly to minimize downtime in production.
  • Collaborate with operations to develop and implement maintenance procedures for instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Repair and upkeep electrical equipment.
  • Program HMI’s/PLC automates and industrial equipment.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical installations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical and/or Electrical and/or Manufacturing Engineering; or other relevant academic experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum of five (5) five years of pertinent experience in Food manufacturing, programming, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems.
  • Mastering the creation and interpretation of electrical schemas, pneumatics, and hydraulics, in ladder diagram and functional sequence diagrams (Function Block Diagrams) to effectively resolve problems.
  • Knowledge of different technology of sensors and actuators as well as network communication ethernet IP.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Background in electrical instrumentation, wiring and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
