The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance operations of the medical clinic to ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role coordinates the work of maintenance staff and external vendors, manages preventive maintenance schedules, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinic policies.
Location: Pasco, WA
Salary: $79,542.08 - $86,236.80 up to $116,063.38 DOE
Schedule: Mon - Fri
Requirements:

MINIMUM EDUCATION -

  • High School Diploma/GED. Technical school or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE -

  • 1-2 years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES -

  • Working knowledge of healthcare facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, medical gas systems (if applicable), and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call, as needed.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and safety requirements (e.g., OSHA, ADA, Joint Commission standards).
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software or CMMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors in daily upkeep of the clinic’s building, systems, and equipment.
  • Plan and prioritize daily maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with healthcare regulations and equipment specifications.
  • Inspect work sites and completed work for quality and safety compliance.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair histories. Ensure all clinic systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and emergency systems) operate efficiently and are regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies. Attends safety, health, and environmental regulation training as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and equipment upgrades.
  • Prepare reports and present updates to management on maintenance issues and progress.
  • Makes decisions on equipment and material needs for the maintenance department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
