YOUR SKILLS:

  • Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, trades, or equivalent industry experience
  • Valid driver’s licence and a safety-first mindset, including EWP awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Confident with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience providing admin support in engineering, manufacturing, or similar environments
  • Well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Industry experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, heavy engineering, or civil construction (highly regarded)
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate support services such as waste disposal, utilities, and crane hire to meet maintenance and subcontractor needs
  • Maintain strong safety practices and ensure compliance with environmental standards
  • Raise and manage purchase orders and internal requisition requests
  • Track project finances, maintain the Project Financial Register, and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Liaise with supply chain, purchasing, and maintenance teams to align on procurement matters
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean systems and process optimisation
  • Assist with documentation, including preparation and delivery of OQE artefacts
