ABOUT US

Snow White Laundries is a growing, multi-site laundry and linen hire business. Established in 1968, we now employ around 150 people, providing quality linen to the hospitality industry in Wales and England.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated individual to join our maintenance team and assist in the smooth running and expansion of the business.
The individual does not need engineering qualifications as the role will be a support to the engineering team but must be able to demonstrate experience of maintenance based work/use of power tools and have an engineering mind set. Ideally this role will develop and the individual will pick up skills specialised to the laundry industry

REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience of both Electrical and Mechanical trades
· Knowledge of engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems.
· Self-motivated
· Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
· High attention to detail.
· Maintenance skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Basic Salary dependant on experience, Plus bonus scheme(up to 12% of weekly earnings & monthly team KPI bonus), Plus OTE.

Responsibilities

· To help maintain the plant and equipment to ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations
· To carry out engineering works on equipment on site as instructed by the Engineering Director.
· Repairing equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring that Production is continuously updated on any progress.
· To work with the Engineering team to identify problems and provide solutions.
· To have a continuous improvement approach to equipment performance.
· To ensure the Company assets are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency
· To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety policies
· To maintain excellent communication between all departments
