Description JOB FUNCTIONS: Fuel and service buses in preparation for Pull-Out. Must possess valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) as parking and driving buses around CATS-BOD property is one of the major functions of this position. Clean buses and checking coolant and lubricants. Cleaning and maintaining building and oil storage area. Pulling cash boxes from fare box. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: This description does not state or imply that the aforementioned essential functions are the only duties assigned to this position. Individual holding this position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the Dept. Manager. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Valid North Carolina or South Carolina Commercial Driver License (CDL) A or B-Class with Passenger (P) Endorsement or Class B CDL Permit with Passenger Endorsement. Must pass DOT physical and Alcohol/Drug Test. No driving While Intoxicated (DWI) conviction within last three (3) years, and no more than one (1) DWI on driving history. Must be flexible to work hours. Off days may vary based on seniority rights per Maintenance Labor Agreement. Must be able to work variable shifts and irregular hours including holidays, weekends. Must be able to work in weather conditions extremes all seasons outside. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Support role involves fueling and servicing buses, cleaning them, and maintaining the building and oil storage area. Additional responsibilities include cash handling from fare boxes and performing other related duties as assigned.
