Description Maintenance Support Worker (Part-Time) Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Parish is seeking a part-time dedicated and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Support Worker to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming community environment while supporting the daily operations of our church and associated buildings. Responsibilities: - Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of parish facilities and equipment - Perform cleaning and custodial duties to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment on occasion -Perform snow removal of sidewalks on occasion - Support setup and breakdown for parish events and activities - Report maintenance issues and coordinate with vendors or contractors as needed - Ensure safety protocols are followed in all maintenance activities - Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in maintenance, custodial work, or a similar role preferred - Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Good communication skills and ability to work independently - Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures - Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Support Worker will assist with routine maintenance and repairs of parish facilities and perform cleaning and custodial duties. They will also support setup and breakdown for parish events and report maintenance issues as needed.
