Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable full-time Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Novotel Leeds Centre. At Novotel Leeds Centre, we welcome you as you are and support you to grow, learn, and develop every day. Shift details: Shifts typically run between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm Days and times may vary depending on business needs Weekend availability is essential Full flexibility across the week is required This is a full-time position What you will be doing: Carry out preventative maintenance and regular safety checks across the hotel. Respond to maintenance requests from guests and colleagues in a timely and professional manner. Undertake general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, decorating, carpentry, and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of hotel areas, equipment, appliances, and systems. Support with troubleshooting and basic repairs where required. Follow hotel security, fire safety, and Health and Safety procedures at all times. Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way. Please note: duties are not limited to the above list. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities A practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges Hotel maintenance experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. If you feel you are the right candidate, are keen and willing to learn, but do not yet have all the skills or experience listed above, we would still love to hear from you.
