£13 PER HOUR PLUS TRONC (OTE £13.50-£13.75 PER HOUR).

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Team Member / Gardener to join our small and friendly team.
You will carry out a range of jobs at Wentbridge House Hotel and other properties, often under your own supervision, so you must be an organised and meticulous worker, energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with basic repairs to damaged facilities, equipment, painting and decorating.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills:

  • Good knowledge and experience of general property maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail, high standards and a patient, organised nature
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of grounds maintenance and garden machinery
  • Exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, carpentry is welcomed
  • A good awareness of health & safety and fire safety
  • A full UK driving licence and your own transport is preferred

This role is available on a part or full time permanent basis. A ‘can do’ hands on attitude is a must as our hotel is open 365 days a year, therefore you will be required to work some weekends.
