JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Maintenance Person to join our team at Huttons Hotel, Pimlico, London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities are well kept, safe and operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Looking for someone to cover weekend, holiday and sickness cover. Times can be flexible.

Objectives of this role

  • Maintain the operational efficiency and appearance of hotel facilities and grounds
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ensure the hotel is compliant with all health and safety regulations
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Work closely with the management team to identify and address repair needs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as inspecting building systems (e.g., electrical, heating, ventilation) and addressing minor issues before they become larger problems
  • Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all hotel equipment and systems are functioning properly and safely
  • Assist with maintaining the hotel’s exterior and landscaping to ensure a clean and welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to address repairs and maintenance needs
  • Document and report all maintenance tasks performed

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.80 per hour
