About the role Our Rothschild, WI location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition division and is responsible for our biopharmaceutical needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of two that works with specialized lactose protein within the Kerry organization! Must have industrial maintenance experience Pay Rate/Hourly Rate/shift differential 38.07 Shift/Working Hours 200 PM to 1000 pm Participate in on call rotation for weekend coverage, approximately every 6 weeks Education Assistance & Tuition Reimbursement Ability to grow with a multinational company Key responsibilities Write PLC code from scratch; includes ladder logic, structured text, and function block (RS Logix, Visual Basic,) Review and interpret PLC coding from others, and make any necessary changes Interface with field devices through industrial controls (ethernet, device net, DH+, etc.) Create and utilize Add-on-Instructions (AOI) within RSLogix Install and setup VFD’s utilizing ethernet control Create new and modify existing iFix operator interface screens in a multiple SCADA server environment (includes new graphics, screens, navigation, interface, etc.) Generate trends within iFix and iFix Historian, and to display them on operator interface Maintaining Windows Server and Virtual Machines within a server environment – specifically ESXi Install and maintain network switch configurations (including layer 3 switches), Vlans, etc., through command line codes Troubleshoot PLC and network issues quickly and effectively (including but not limited to those areas described above, instrument accuracy issues, messaging errors, I/O faults, power supply issues, etc.) Repair, replace or rebuild process equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, valves and motors The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be completed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulation. Independently performs Preventive maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance planner per Kerry and manufacturer specifications. Qualifications and skills Education This position requires an associate’s degree in Electromechanical Technology or equivalent experience. Experience • Working knowledge of Electrical 3 phase systems, PLCs, Controls • Extensive experience repairing and/or replacing pumps, motors, filters, pipes. • Welding & cutting and grinding along with the operations of a wide range of powered shop tools. • Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills are required. Familiarity with maintaining Windows Server • Familiarity with maintaining Virtual Machines within a server environment Compensation Data The pay rate for this position is $38.07 per hour.
