Position Summary The Maintenance Mechanical Tech 3 is responsible for keeping production and facility equipment in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe operations. This hands-on role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive repair across both De Pere locations (mileage included in compensation). Key Responsibilities * Perform advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and facility systems. * Lead maintenance planning, work orders, inventory tracking, and contractor coordination. * Manage and maintain facility systems (HVAC, fire/security, landscaping, etc.). * Support and enforce safety initiatives and preventive maintenance programs. * Communicate effectively between shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations. * Perform basic machining, pipefitting, welding, and electrical wiring (single/three phase, PLC systems). * Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours issues. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; Journeyman’s card, Electro-Mechanical degree, or 5+ years of related experience preferred. * Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in manufacturing or paper converting environments. * Ability to read electrical schematics and perform preventive maintenance. * Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites. * Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and perform manual labor as needed.
