Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Process Worker to join our team at a food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience in food production to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor equipment in a food processing plant to ensure proper functioning
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines
- Assist in the fabrication and packaging of food products
- Conduct quality checks on products to maintain high standards
- Utilize forklifts for material handling within the facility
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measuring ingredients and packaging requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in food production or processing
- Knowledge of CGMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
- Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot machinery
- Ability to fabricate and package products efficiently
- Proficiency in using forklifts for material handling tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities

The typical hiring range for this role is $22 or $26 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.
