They will troubleshoot and repair production equipment and periodically support facilities maintenance technicians in troubleshooting are repairing facilities and plant services equipment. Physical / Mental Demands Frequent standing, walking, pushing and pulling. Frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending and stooping, frequent reaching. Able to work in temperature extremes. Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Essential Functions Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems (including PLC control systems). Lead and / or participate in capacity projects involving relocating equipment, installing equipment, and starting up new equipment. Assist production in performing setup and changeovers. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on equipment as scheduled. Maintain required records of work completed. Comply with all environmental and safety rules and regulations. Work changing shift schedule and overtime as needed to support production and special projects. Assist maintenance supervision in the ordering of parts and the maintenance of accurate spare parts inventory. Be a resource to train and mentor other technicians and production personnel. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a maintenance education program, craft apprenticeship, or equivalent experience, or industry equivalent 3-5 years’ experience in industrial plant maintenance. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. Competent in using standard office computer applications. Basic understanding of HVAC systems. Maintenance education program, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience. 3-5 years of industrial plant maintenance experience. Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems. Basic understanding of HVAC systems. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and reaching. Ability to work in temperature extremes and adapt to changing shift schedules.
