MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining machinery to ensure safety and productivity. This role supports product safety, quality, and legality while performing mechanical maintenance tasks in a manufacturing or packaging environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Set up and maintain machinery in the co-pack area. * Maintain machinery in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program. * Ensure the work area complies with current safety standards. * Understand and assist in the Equipment Validation Process. * Use eMaint for troubleshooting and documenting repairs and maintenance tasks. * Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager and Co-Pack Supervisors. Preferred Skills: * Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network systems, including IP addressing schemes, subnetting, and device connectivity. * Maintain and support industrial network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, and Ethernet/IP networks). * Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime in operations. * Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems. * Integrate PLC-controlled equipment with network systems for data communication and process control. * Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 0--2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment, or equivalent vocational education and experience. * Exceptional problem-solving and maintenance skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Customer service driven. * Strong team player.
