About Company: About the Role: The Maintenance Tech II plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facility equipment and systems across various departments. This position involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The Maintenance Tech II collaborates closely with other team members to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond promptly to emergency repair requests. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, thereby supporting overall operational continuity. Ultimately, the Maintenance Tech II contributes to creating a safe, reliable, and well-maintained environment that supports the organization's productivity and compliance goals. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical field. * Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field. * Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). * Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls. * Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations. * Ability to operate forklifts or other heavy equipment. Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality. * Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, machinery, and facility infrastructure. * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. * Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. * Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems as required. Skills: The Maintenance Tech II utilizes strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills daily to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently, minimizing downtime. Mechanical and electrical knowledge is applied to perform repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring systems operate safely and reliably. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and documenting maintenance activities accurately. Familiarity with technical manuals and schematics supports precise troubleshooting and installation tasks. Additionally, adherence to safety protocols and the ability to use specialized tools and equipment are critical to maintaining a secure work environment. 7am - 4pm
