Description Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level to Mid-Level) Location: Butler, PA Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; both required) Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 Position Summary JSP is seeking entry-level to mid-level Maintenance Technicians to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to apply vocational, technical, or trade school training in a hands-on setting while gaining practical experience alongside skilled maintenance professionals. The position offers the opportunity to develop mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance skills while contributing to safe and efficient plant operations. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in troubleshooting, continuous learning, and long-term career growth in maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform tool changes in accordance with production schedules Conduct preventive maintenance and monitor equipment condition Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment Complete required documentation in compliance with ISO/IATF standards Perform general plant and facility maintenance Operate equipment such as fork trucks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts (training provided) Support training of new hires and maintenance backups Adhere to all safety standards within a manufacturing environment Qualifications Vocational, technical, or trade school training (or equivalent experience) Basic mechanical and/or electrical aptitude Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule (day/night shifts required) Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing setting Benefits 10 paid holidays Vacation and paid/unpaid time off (eligible to accrue and use in first year) Medical, dental, and vision coverage available on Day 1 401(k) with company match (2:1 match on first 3%) Life and disability insurance PPE provided Tuition reimbursement Opportunities for pay increases and career advancement Requirements High school diploma or GED Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic devices Mechanical aptitude, knowledge of machine shop practices and strong math skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings Computer Skills; MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
