Description Join our team! Leland Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for one of its HOA communities in the Orlando/Lake Nona area. The position is full-time with competitive pay and excellent benefits. Performs skilled and semi-skilled labor in the repair of HOA facilities. May include basic carpentry, mechanical, electrical, gate maintenance and plumbing tasks. Ensure the property is in accordance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures Observes all safety rules and regulations to minimize risk, ensure the safety of employees and homeowners. Inspects property and common area for unsafe conditions, clears hazards; reports safety conditions, security issues and any suspicious activity. Works on assigned projects, makes appropriate decisions based on work experience and individual skills. Reports any issues that are beyond capabilities. Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs. Inspects and maintains all swimming pools in accordance with County ordinances. Operates vehicles and other equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures. Reports any mechanical problems. Completes incident and accident reports as required. Assist in any community events that may occur. Skilled In use of hand and power tools Ability to work individually Professional presentation and attitude Requirements Qualifications: Experience in handyman tasks Experience working with hand and power tools Experience as a ground keeper Good work habits: punctuality, efficiency, and prioritizing tasks Ability to work independently Knowledge of safety codes and standards Attention to detail CPO license preferred Additional Requirements Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.) Perform moderate physical work Work with cleaning solvents Conditions may create dirt or dust. Work Environment: Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule: First 30 days of training - Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm - Friday & Saturday: 9:00am to 5:30pm Once your 30-day training has been completed - Wednesday through Sunday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm
