Description
The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant equipment and manufacturing processes. This is accomplished by utilizing mechanical and electrical expertise in the precise installation, maintenance, and repair of plant systems and equipment followed by concise and accurate documentation of all activities and observations. Incumbent must be willing to join a team environment and perform other tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Technical associates' degree or at least 2 years experience in the industrial maintenance field. Working knowledge of and capability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Verbal and written communication skills necessary including basic computer proficiency. Good organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: An associates' degree in Industrial Maintenance or U.S. Department of Labor approved journeyman certificate. Working knowledge of and capability to troubleshoot and repair industrial food processing and packaging equipment. National Career Readiness Certificate strongly recommended.
