Our culture is people-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented. Summary: Maintenance Tech is responsible for keeping the hotel running smoothly and looking sharp. They will facilitate simple day-to-day repairs, long-term fixes, and are responsible for being proactive in maintenance-related issues. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to identify needed repairs Repair or replace damaged furniture, fixtures, and appliances in guest rooms and public areas Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, including after-hours emergencies Maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of hotel grounds and exterior features such as swimming pools and parking lots Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment and proper disposal of hazardous materials Live up to high safety standards – follow guidelines and tell your supervisor about any incidents, dangerous conditions or unsafe equipment Always keep an eye out for improvements – follow the preventative maintenance calendar and keep everything working and efficient at all times Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests Be ready to take on extra duties as and when the team needs you Requirements Qualifications: Have A Highschool Diploma, GED, or equivalent education experience Have 1-2 Years Hotel Maintenance Experience Have basic maintenance certification/accreditation preferred Customer service experience preferred Be a team player Able to communicate effectively (Verbal/Written) Able to work weekends and evenings (Required) Physical Requirements: Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently or constantly to carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift. Ability to reach overhead, utilize both hands, to bend over and to stoop and kneel. Ability to operate various types of maintenance equipment.
