Working 6AM-6PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. What you'll do The role of Maintenance Technician will be to ensure optimal availability of production equipment, while meeting production, safety, budgetary and process improvement requirements. This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing all manufacturing and facilities equipment. Responsible for production and facility equipment installation, modification, and maintenance. Including wiring, troubleshooting, PMs of automated assembly lines, assembly fixtures, and plant equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager. What you'll need to be successful in this role High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in an applicable field (process engineering, mechanics, etc.) preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician, experience working in a manufacturing environment & food/beverage experience is highly preferred. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication Piping systems Electricity - a plus PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus Process control instrumentation HVAC systems Process equipment Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
