We have immediate openings for Maintenance Technicians to support our Night shift, 600PM - 600AM, on a rotating 2,2,3 schedule. Offering $2,000 Sign on Bonus! What you'll do You’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations you’ll work on Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep Working with pumps, heat exchangers, and steam systems What you'll need to be successful in this role 5+ years of General Maintenance Experience. 2+ years electrical experience Experience working in a manufacturing environment & food/beverage experience is highly preferred. High school diploma or GED is required; associated degree in relevant field preferred. Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder. (outside certification) Piping systems Electricity PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus Process control instrumentation HVAC systems Process equipment Personal Computing Compensation Data The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
