Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and building systems within our manufacturing facility. This full-time position is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment using hand, power, and precision tools. Perform preventive maintenance and complete maintenance work orders. Read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and specifications to identify and correct issues. Inspect and test equipment for performance; dismantle and replace defective parts as needed. Operate shop tools (e.g., drill press, grinder) to fabricate or modify repair parts. Maintain facility structure and support general building repairs. Monitor work performed by outside contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Initiate purchase orders for replacement parts and supplies. Follow all housekeeping, safety, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions and schematics. Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment repair strongly preferred. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. (frequently up to 100 lbs.) Requires close and distance vision, color perception, and depth perception. Work Environment Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels and heat exposure.
