Description
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to support initiative including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance. In this function you will: Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs. Record and schedule preventative maintenance. Requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks. Fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery. Lead and manage special projects as required. candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Experience with Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response Position Criteria: Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
