Maintenance Technician – Full Time, 1st Shift Saint Joe’s is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of building and grounds maintenance and be eager to contribute to an established team that helps maintain Saint Joe’s as one of the premier facilities of its kind in the state of Ohio. ---------------------------------------- GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles, buildings, and grounds. This includes, but is not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and snow removal. Specific responsibilities and hours may vary based on maintenance needs. ---------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS * Must be at least 18 years of age * High school diploma or GED required * Experience in building trades (plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and electrical) and vehicle maintenance required * Knowledge of safety regulations * Valid driver’s license with fewer than 6 points required * Ability to work effectively as part of a team while building and maintaining professional relationships * Self-directed, dependable, and highly motivated On-call rotation required (every third weekend). ---------------------------------------- ABOUT US Saint Joe’s creates a home for adults and children with developmental disabilities who have complex support needs and use a wheelchair for mobility.
