Suite 400 Hudsonville, MI 49426 Company Proper Beverage Company Department Maintenance Reports To Reliability Manager Supervisory Responsibilities None Job Summary As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and supporting production equipment. This highly production-focused position is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, supporting operational efficiency, and executing machine changeovers to meet production schedules. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm. Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Machine Changeovers & Production Support Perform and lead mechanical changeovers on production equipment. Ensure machines are properly adjusted, set up, and verified prior to production startup. Work closely with production teams to execute efficient changeovers while minimizing downtime. Maintain readiness of equipment to support production. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly. Repair and Replacement Repair or replace defective parts as needed. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts. Documentation Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. Utilize maintenance management documentation procedures for documentation. Safety Compliance Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Participate in safety training programs. Collaboration Work closely with production and other departments to understand equipment needs and priorities. Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel. All other duties as assigned Experience & Qualifications 3+ years of Maintenance experience, preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards are not overlooked. Physical stamina to handle full shift of being active.
Responsibilities
