Our mission is to deliver quality extrusions and service that exceed customer expectations while staying true to our core values: Safety, Environment, Quality, Customer Service, Cost Management, and Team Integrity Regular Shift: 12-hour shifts 2-3-2 Training phase schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics plant wide and have basic knowledge of PLC’s and controls. Read and understand equipment manuals to perform maintenance required. Complete multi-craft tasks on all equipment and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner. This position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling. Maintains a clean and orderly work area, including general housekeeping of the work area after completion of the repair. Qualifications Knowledge of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, power source, stored energy, pinch points, etc. Must be proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and building maintenance tasks. Must also have a basic working knowledge of PLC’s and electrical controls and the ability to troubleshoot and repair as needed. Welding and Fabrication experience preferred. Personal Protective Equipment Requirements: Ear plugs, safety glasses, long pants, steel-toed shoes. Gloves, protective sleeves as needed.
