Description Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the operational efficiency and safety of facilities and machinery by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems, and executing repairs. Essential Duties: Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs and maintenance on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulics, process pumps, boilers, chillers, and other assigned general maintenance duties. Assess and resolve a wide range of on-site maintenance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on company-owned tools and equipment. Read, interpret, and implement work orders. Acquire the necessary materials to complete repairs and work orders. Document equipment requirements and maintain appropriate records of work performed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED; Technical school or Certifications are highly preferred. Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Must be able to use hands and fingers, talk, listen, and speak clearly. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
