YOUR FUTURE IS WITH FOREMOST! Our Lancaster plant proudly produces high-quality Cheddar cheese and whey products. Production Associates here play an extremely important role in the seven-day-a-week operations, providing support in cheese making, whey processing, packaging, and sanitation duties as we develop these key products. Schedules for this position may vary and could include days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. JOB DUTIES: As a Maintenance Technician in Lancaster, you'll be responsible for keeping manufacturing equipment in top working condition for one of our plants. Responsibilities include: Installing motors and pumps Stainless steel welding Maintaining ammonia refrigeration equipment Boiler operation Preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting Work with pneumatics, instrumentation, HVAC, record keeping, and more MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a general maintenance exam Willing to use a forklift (training is provided) Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations Must be detail oriented Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment Participation in team environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Food processing experience preferred, or experience maintaining manufacturing equipment Electro-Mechanical Technology degree or related education desired Experience with ammonia systems, welding, boilers, cooling towers, pumps and motors, electrical Able to read and understand standard operating procedures Prior PLC experience is helpful, programming and troubleshooting Knowledge of GMP's and OSHA is highly desirable Experience with single phase and three phase power BENEFITS: Foremost Farms offers some of the best benefits in the area, because you and your family matter.
