MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 3rd SHIFT (Federal Plant) This hourly position maintains and repairs production equipment while supporting all departments to provide quality machined parts for customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintains and assigns production machine uptime. Performs continuous improvements in department. Completes PM’s per maintenance department specs. Informs Maintenance Technician Lead or Shift Managers of down machines. Fills out parts request for any parts needed. Completes daily checks (if not completed by previous shift, next shift is responsible). Performs torque and leak tester verification procedures. Fills MP2 for all work done. Communicates with shift Maintenance Technician Lead on work priorities and end of shift follow-up. Communicates with incoming/outgoing maintenance technicians on problems/issues encountered during working shift. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Maintains regular and punctual attendance in accordance with scheduled work hours and overtime (OT) as assigned. Meets all physical and environmental requirements. Follows all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Policy regulations including the proper use of all required personal protective equipment. REQUIREMENTS Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school Certifications/Licenses: Electrical training, Lockout/Tagout, Fork Truck, Aerial Lift, Arc Flash, Programmable Logic Control. Experience: Six months or more related experience.
