Description This hands-on position reports to the Operations Manager working with the Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate the repair & maintenance of production machinery, tooling, support equipment & building maintenance, by performing the following duties personally. Requirements Assist with machine change overs. Preventative maintenance of fixtures & tooling. Robot PM & trouble shoot machines. Inspects operating machines & equipment for conformance with operational standards. Breakdowns and Repairs – responds in a timely manner to machine failure coordinating resources to expedite repair & return to service. Predictive & Preventative Maintenance - Maintains predictive/preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment Spares Stores – Monitors spare parts inventory & adjusts items stored & quantity to assure parts are available for PM & repair needs. New equipment installation or rearrangement – works with maintenance & support staff to install new or existing equipment rearrangement to efficiently complete moves & getting machines back to service. Maintain property as well as the maintenance of buildings & grounds. Maintain for trucks, lift, & other non-production equipment. Suggests changes in working conditions & use of equipment to increase efficiency. Takes a proactive approach in both safety & environmental issues. Identifies projects or changes to improve reliability & reduce costs.

Responsibilities

This hands-on role involves coordinating the repair and maintenance of production machinery, tooling, support equipment, and building facilities under the direction of the Operations Manager and Maintenance Coordinator. Duties include performing preventative maintenance, responding to machine failures, managing spare parts inventory, and assisting with equipment installation and rearrangement.
