Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Third Shift Maintenance Technician The Role: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Third Shift Maintenance Technician who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll troubleshooting and repairing while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. At Toyota Material Handling, we value innovative and creative ideas. What You’ll Be Doing: * Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving system components, including: * Working knowledge of complex electrical controls and circuit analysis. Able to use multi-meter to troubleshoot. * Understanding of safety controls including light curtains and safety scanners. Able to connect and troubleshoot PLC/devices and repair/replace as needed * Working knowledge of complex industrial automation systems and equipment, including CNC Machining Center (Mazak and Okuma controls preferred) * Operate manual equipment for repair (Lathe, Mill, vertical and horizontal saw) * Advanced PLC logic understanding (XFER, MOVE and arithmetic data) * Advanced mechanical skills to repair equipment * Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic controls (understands schematic and symbols) * Working knowledge of robotic applications with PLC integration (Motoman robotics experience preferred) * Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment * Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals, including: * Shielding gas types and ratios * Circuit continuity confirmation * Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow * Understanding of weld fume health impact * Work unscheduled overtime to complete assigned jobs to ensure meeting of production goals * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner * Additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For: * High School Diploma or GED requires * 6 years of previous maintenance experience preferred What Sets You Apart: * Strong communication skills * Continual learning * Interpersonal skills/respect for people * Team player – Willingness to share knowledge * Resourcefulness/initiative * Customer-focused Where and When You’ll Work: * This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Hourly Wage - $31 - $44 per hour + OT (when needed). Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
