MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (6-MONTH CONTRACT) 🐯 Location: Guelph, ON Department: Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Manager Looking for a hands-on role where your skills make an immediate impact? TIGER is looking for a Maintenance Technician (6-month contract) to support our Maintenance team and help keep our plant, machinery, and facilities running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting, fixing equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this contract role is a great opportunity to put your expertise to work. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Assist in maintaining the overall plant, machinery, and equipment to ensure reliable operations throughout the contract period. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 🛠 MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS * Respond to and repair emergency machine breakdowns, and schedule non-emergency repairs. * Perform minor electrical and electronic repairs. * Monitor manufacturing equipment and complete routine and preventive maintenance as required. * Perform welding using in-house equipment. * Support general building maintenance, including offices and common areas. 🏭 FACILITY & EQUIPMENT SUPPORT * Maintain plant equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance. * Track machine setups, equipment run hours, and work completed by outside contractors. 📋 ADMINISTRATIVE & PLANNING SUPPORT * Order maintenance supplies and parts as needed. * Assist the Maintenance Manager with obtaining quotes and special pricing. * Help schedule and coordinate outside contractors. * Support inventory management and stock control using in-house software. ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. * Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical knowledge is an asset. * Welding experience preferred. * Ability to respond effectively to urgent repair situations. * Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable documenting work. * Team-oriented with a strong safety mindset. ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN TIGER? 🐯 Join a Great Place to Work 🛠 Make an immediate impact in a hands-on role 🤝 Work with a supportive, skilled team 📈 Gain valuable experience during a focused contract assignment At TIGER, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do. ---------------------------------------- 👉 Interested in joining TIGER for this 6-month contract?
