As a Maintenance Technician reporting to the Chief Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: Collaborating on and following the hotel’s maintenance plans, including preventative, predictive, and reactive tasks. Maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings to the highest standards. Communicating and working closely with all hotel departments to ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out effectively and on time. Identifying and resolving potential maintenance issues before they become problems, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Upholding safety protocols and ensuring the asset remains in optimal condition, providing a pleasant and safe atmosphere for all guests and staff. Rotating roster across Monday - Sunday. Qualifications About You: Previous “hands-on” maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or facilities management environment. Strong attention to detail with a drive for achieving high-quality results. Excellent communication skills to build relationships within the hotel team and address guest needs. Effective time management and the ability to respond promptly to urgent tasks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to adapt to daily operational needs. A solid understanding of Workplace Health, Safety, and Environment standards. Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work various shifts (shift can vary between 7am to 8pm), including weekends and public holidays.
