Applications are invited for a position as Maintenance Production Technician.
The Maintenance Technician will work as part of the Maintenance Team, to carry out mechanical and (where competent) electrical preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on all plant and equipment within his/her scope, to achieve optimum product and service quality as demanded by Webprint and its customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Hold a recognised Mechanical/Engineering or Electrical qualification.
· Likely to have further training and qualifications in machining, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
· Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated equipment, including high speed plant.
· PC literate in the mainstream application packages.
· Experience in a print/packaging equipment environment would be an advantage

· Execution of the daily, weekly, monthly etc. preventative maintenance tasks.
· Updating the preventative maintenance system (LMS, PEMAC & ELOG)
· Initiating effective repairs to restore plant function in the event of breakdown.
· Liaising with other shifts, Technicians, Team Leaders and Managers to ensure smooth operation of the plant and equipment.
