Position: General Maintenance Technician
Salary: Circa £37,000 (45hrs/week)
Reports to: Design Manager & Head of Maintenance
Location: NI Based

Responsibilities

SCOPE OF ROLE:

As a General Maintenance Technician you will be primarily responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance and continual operation of all Airtastic & Funky Monkeys businesses within the Company at various venues throughout Ireland & the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLES

Hands-on maintenance assistance repairing building structures, Bowling Alleys, Laser Tag Arenas, Challenge Rooms, Inflatables, Soft Play Frames, Mini Golf courses, assisting with fit-outs and general faults or defects that will involve construction work, general carpentry and minor physical, mechanical & electrical processes
Daily issue of updated Maintenance Sheets confirming completed work
Working to deadlines to ensure that all activities are fully operational in advance of or during hours of normal daily business
Availability to provide verbal or email guidance on repairs if necessary
Liaise with the Maintenance Facilities Manager & Design Manager on a daily basis to ensure that processes are complete
Occasional assistance in helping external Sub-Contractors to enter premises or with Builders Work
Essential Criteria:
1. Experience in Joinery work, knowledge of general building construction & basic electrical knowledge
2. Keen interest in maintenance, investigating & diagnosing problems & finding solutions
3. Ability to communicate and work alongside colleagues in a team environment
Additional Information:
1. This role will require travel throughout NI, ROI & the UK (on occasions with members of the Maintenance Team but essentially as an individual once training is complete)
2. This role will require full flexibility, including early mornings, occasional emergency evening or weekend call-outs to ensure all facilities remain fully operational
3. Full training on all aspects of maintenance with which the applicant is not familiar will be provided to the successful applicant
4. Full clean driving license required
