JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, including robots, forge presses, and other automated systems. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical troubleshooting as well as basic mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
  • Strong foundation in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification or training in relevant technical fields preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment including conveyors, robots, forge presses, and machine automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment specifications.
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts safely and effectively.
  • Perform basic welding tasks using MIG and ARC welding techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures.
