BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree and 2 years of Maintenance experience
Or
2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Maintenance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical expertise in manufacturing equipment operations, process systems maintenance, and CIP/SIP procedures.
  • Experience in GMP-regulated environments within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including sensors, low-voltage components, and electronic units.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with aseptic filling equipment (vial/syringe), parts washers, ultrasonic washers, autoclaves, and related cleaning systems.
  • Familiarity with isolators, debaggers, ebeam systems, fillers, robotic systems, conveyors, and aseptic techniques; skilled in using alignment tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant computer applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will perform maintenance activities that ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment used to manufacture therapies that improve patients’ lives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and basic troubleshooting on equipment and machinery in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Perform in equipment setup, disassembly, and handling with minimal errors; support changeover activities to ensure smooth transitions across shifts.
  • Follow cGMPs, SOPs, and established safety procedures; complete required documentation under supervision and adhere to training requirements.
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance programs, including generating and completing work orders for both corrective and preventive tasks.
  • Support and perform troubleshooting efforts by identifying unusual conditions, bringing up issues appropriately, and collaborating with peers and senior technicians.
  • Seek guidance from senior technicians and supervisors to clarify task expectations, priorities, or when encountering complex situations.
  • Review technical manuals and internal resources to deepen understanding of equipment and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, shift leads, and supervisors to align on priorities, share updates, and ensure operational continuity across shifts.
