Description Associated Thermoforming, Inc. is seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Scheduled Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm plus overtime opportunities on Fridays once trained. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the installation, repair, and replacement of production equipment and facility systems. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Assist with machinery breakdowns and equipment diagnostics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders. Repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, and other facility systems. Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and material handling equipment. Support facility upkeep, such as light grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience, Qualifications, and Skillset Necessary: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Experience operating forklifts preferred but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, preferred. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Usual production environment involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing occasional sitting. Postures include mostly walking, standing, and lifting. Occasionally lifts or carries up to 50 pounds, and balances while working in a production environment. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination. Verbal and auditory capacity, with or without assistance, enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. Visual capacity could include one or more of the following depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision enabling operation of machinery. Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others.
