Atlas Hotels is hiring a Maintenance Technician right now at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

  • Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.
  • Trade experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is highly advantageous.
  • Computer literacy (for compliance and audit tasks).
  • Experience in water management compliance is a plus.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Atlas Hotels is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cambridge. If you have previous experience in property maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you! While qualifications are not essential, experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering would be beneficial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.
  • Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage contractors on-site when required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
  • Working alongside all colleagues within Atlas
  • Liaise with your Area Maintenance Manager for larger maintenance projects and refurbishments.
  • Share proactive insights with the Operational, Property, and Maintenance teams to improve guest services.
