Description

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for the Fond du Lac, WI facility.

  • General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all machinery.
  • Remove and install tools into designated presses based on direction from supervisor
  • Replace seals, fill guns, knock outs, and other accessories as needed to support production
  • Properly document maintenance performed so that accurate records can be kept.
  • Install logo plates and inserts as needed
  • Follow tooling best practices:
  • Label defective materials for rebuild, store in proper location
  • Storage and safe handling of tools
  • Help to identify leaks in tooling and repair as needed
  • Ensure that all new and existing equipment or machinery is operating properly.
  • Perform light construction tasks, such as building repairs, painting, general upkeeping as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause.
  • Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e., lock out/tag out, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Serve as an advanced technical resource in a given maintenance specialty (i.e. fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, controllers, etc.)
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems at various voltages (120V, 277V, 240V, 480V)
  • Monitor and maintain outside building maintenance as needed (shoveling, salting, etc.)
  • Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE

  • Must be able to operate forklift within the safety guidelines established by AMP
  • Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEAD KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Will be trained to become familiar with general safety.
  • Will be trained to become familiar with general Quality System/Workmanship standards.
  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
  • Must be able to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools
