Job Details Job Location: Legal Address - Wichita, KS 67209 Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly Job Category: Manufacturing DESCRIPTION: The duties for the Maintenance Technician I Include, but are not limited to: Safely and responsibly working in an industrial production environment that has exposure to high voltages, Hot and cold temperatures, Indoors and outdoors, chemicals, confined spaces and mechanical hazards. The maintenance technicians responsibilities will include trouble shooting and repair of electrical and mechanical defects of all kinds, on all machinery and facilities as well as completion of preventive maintenance routines. All company employees are expected to continuously improve their skill set and methods of preforming their job so as to aid in both their personal and the companys growth and success. Maintenance technicians will be expected to cross train and assist others as needed with trouble shooting process and production issues. The duties of this role will include grounds keeping responsibilities year round as well as backing up the housekeeper role when required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle privileged and confidential information in a secure manor. Work safely with high voltages, chemicals, mechanical assemblies Think and act with security in mind Minor housekeeping and production tasks Grounds keeping of all kinds, year round Electrical and mechanical repairs Preventive maintenance on all production machinery and facility continuously improve your skill set and methods of preforming your job Miscellaneous tasks as assigned Qualifications EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 years experience preforming maintenance duties in an industrial setting. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand for long periods of time High level of dedication and motivation for your job with a positive attitude. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting Must have reliable transportation Ability to read and write English Must be a self-starter with the ability to stay on task with minimal supervision Strong problem solving skills a must Strong communication skills and good attention to detail Education and/ or experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance Must provide required tools and secure storage for them. Excellent attendance with the requirement for overtime work as needed The ability to respond to an after-hours call in, promptly anytime day or night Basic Computer and industrial automation skills Telephone
