GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a Maintenance Technician at AC Hotels by Marriott, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel’s facilities and systems. This position is responsible for performing general repairs and maintenance to uphold the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our guests while preserving the hotel’s aesthetic and operational integrity. You will work closely with the management team and other departments to deliver exceptional service and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality throughout the hotel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
  • Previous hotel experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical (electrical certification an asset), plumbing, HVAC, painting and mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems and equipment efficiently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying conditions (including outdoor environments) and stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs.
  • Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching.
  • Use manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
